Profile Pages (all roles)

Ordered by business impact and PRD alignment. Critical items block launch readiness.
The PRD's core differentiator is "AI drives every major action." A floating AI chat widget accessible from any page is the single most important missing piece. Use InvokeLLM with context about the student's profile, career match, and current skills to answer questions like "What should I learn next?" or "Am I ready for this internship?" This alone would make the platform feel truly AI-native.
The Plans & Pricing page and Checkout UI are fully built — but no real Stripe transaction is wired. Integrate Stripe Checkout or Payment Intents on the backend to handle Student Pro, Employer, and course add-on purchases. Without this, the platform cannot generate revenue from its existing UI.
The AI Project Builder already calls the LLM and generates feedback. The final step is: after generating feedback, score the project automatically and set status to "AI Verified" if it meets the threshold, or "In Review" if not. This closes the loop and makes the badge meaningful for employers.
Employers can browse talent and shortlist but cannot post internship opportunities. Add a "Post Opportunity" form on the Talent Dashboard and a basic employer-side hiring pipeline (Applied → Screened → Interview → Offer → Hired). This is essential to close the two-sided marketplace loop defined in the PRD.
The parent portal and school admin show current snapshots but no historical trends. Add recharts line/bar charts for portfolio growth over time, skills added per month, and application activity. This gives parents and schools the trajectory view they need to assess student development.
The notification bell shows a static "3" badge. Build a real Notification entity with triggers: new mentor booking confirmation, internship deadline reminder, AI skill gap update, portfolio feedback received. Show a live dropdown of unread alerts. This drives daily active engagement.
The AI Career Agent menu section is now in the student sidebar (Chat Interface, Recommendations, Action Plan). The next step is building the actual chat page — a conversational LLM interface with context from the student's profile, career match, and skills. This is the PRD's core differentiator.
The PRD lists Career Simulation as a key student feature — a sandbox where students can explore "if I learn X skill, what new career paths open up?" Use a branching logic flow or LLM prompt to simulate career readiness changes based on hypothetical skill additions. This is a strong engagement and retention hook.
Employers currently cannot view a student portfolio without logging in. Add a route like /p/[studentId] that renders a clean, read-only portfolio page accessible without authentication. This makes the portfolio shareable via a link — a key differentiator for student job applications.
The PRD specifies multi-language support for the Thailand market. Add i18n with a Thai/English toggle using react-i18next. Start with the student dashboard, career AI, and mentor pages as highest-traffic screens. This widens total addressable market significantly.
The LMS page has a polished UI for course modules, assignments, and live sessions — but completion state is not saved to the database. Wire completion toggles to the AITask or a new LMSProgress entity so that progress persists across sessions and feeds into the dashboard stats.
NexusCareerPath has grown from a design prototype into a feature-rich, production-quality platform. The platform now covers approximately 82% of the PRD scope, spanning 9 modules, 30+ nav items across 6 roles, 10 database entities, full multi-tenancy, and multiple live AI integrations.
The navigation architecture is now PRD-complete — each role has a structured grouped sidebar (Student: 9 sections, Parent: 6, Mentor: 6, School Admin: 7, Employer: 7, Super Admin: 7) with correct active-state highlighting per item. Multi-tenancy is live with School/Company entities and SuperAdmin tenant management. The PRD's promise of "AI drives every major action" is becoming real across career assessment, skills gap, portfolio builder, and parent reports.
The key remaining build items are: wiring the Stripe payment flow (UI fully built), building the AI Career Agent chat interface (menu stub exists), and completing the employer internship posting flow. With those done, NexusCareerPath is ready for a private beta launch.
